The Iceman’s July Toronto To-Do List

It’s officially that time of year that Torontonians look forward to most: summer! Kick it off right with lots of fun city activities from concert-going to international food tasting events to simply soaking up the warmth in the short few months we have it! Follow the Iceman’s to-do list to see what the city has to offer and keep up-to-date for the month of July!

Fringe Festival – July 1-12:

Join in on the city’s largest theatre event of the year with live performances taking place across Toronto!

Taste of Toronto – July 2-5:

Beeline to historic Fort York for an exploration in the city’s finest cuisines, now only in it’s second year!

Salsa On St. Clair – July 4 & 5:

Bustling St Clair West celebrates their diverse latin culture that is found spread across the midtown stretch.

Afro Fest – July 4 & 5:

Music Africa hosts a diverse festival that explores song and performance that originates throughout the African Continent. Stop by Woodbine Park to check out this event!

Pan Am Games – July 10- 26:

Prepare as the city ignites with team spirit as it hosts the 2015 summer Pan Am games. Strewn across different locations, the excitement of this major sporting event is bound to be felt throughout every corner of the city. The IceMan is proud to be participating in the success of such a large-scale event so be sure to catch our follow up post on the games!

Beaches Jazz Festival – July 10-26:

The east end gears up for an exciting musical event that takes place on Queen West and features live jazz all week long.

BrazilFest – July 19th:

Bask in all the Brazilian delights with a day of chalk full of performances, and more. This cultural event is to be held at Earlscourt Park, and did we mention it’s free?

Toronto Festival of Beer – July 24-26:

Need we say more? Drop by the Exhibition Place for a swig or two of a wide selection of fine brew.

Way Home Music Festival – July 24-25:

A brand new outdoor festival will be taking off this July located at Burl’s Creek just outside of the city. If you’re into camping, dancing, and having a good time we would definitely suggest checking it out!

The Scotiabank Toronto Caribbean Carnival – July 31- August 2:

A cultural explosion showcasing the diverse colours of the caribbean through music, dance, performance art and more!
