Boots & Hearts: August 6-9
The Burl’s Creek Festival Grounds in Oro-Medonte seems to be the place to be this summer! Another festival takes over space with some boot-stomping country music all weekend long!
Taste of the Danforth: August 7-9
Canada’s largest street festival showcasing the Danforth’s greek heritage is sure to be a bustling spot to be – not to mention all the souvlaki!
Roundhouse Craft Beer Festival: August 8-9
Who doesn’t like a chilled pint of beer in the middle of a heatwave? Head on down to Roundhouse Park to taste some of the best craft brews out of the Ontario region. Toronto food trucks will be on site and ready to fill your belly before you finish it all off with a refreshing swig!
Rogers Cup: August 8-16
Toronto hosts the prestigious week long Tennis tournament at the Aviva Centre at York U. Don’t snooze on buying tickets for what’s bound to be some seriously exciting tennis matches.
Jerk Festival: August 8-9
Got the post-Caribana blues? Get your caribbean jerk fix at the two day food fest at Centennial Park.
Markham Jazz Festival: August 13-16
Head to Unionville and hang out with fellow jazz aficionados for a weekend of blues, bebop, and more for a weekend of music and fun. Look for stages along Main St.
Tough Mudder: August 15-16
For those with a competitive spirit, join in on the Toronto event that has participants competing challenging obstacle courses that is sure to bring out a battle of brawn. Head out to Coldwater and test out your skill!
Canadian National Exhibition: August 21-Sept 7
Best known as the Ex, families and friends know well to catch a day at Exhibition Place, marking the end of another fulfilling summer season. We suggest to consume large quantities of fried foods and enjoy the beer tents to stay cool after you’ve explored one of the largest Canadian fairs!
Buskerfest: August 27-30
Into puppets and fire breathers? This is the spot where all sorts of street performers congregate and impress the excited crowds along Yonge Street between Queen and College.
Mad Decent Block Party: August 29
Get loose at this outdoor music concert presented by the LA based Mad Decent record label at Fort York Commons. Look out for the hottest DJs that are sure to make you move.
